The KINDER-CARES Catalog was developed as a tool for identifying interventions and promising practices list of potential programs, policies, practices and procedures, tools and strategies that can be used to guide the development of the program and that can be used to address pre- and post-reunification needs of children and families in foster care. The Catalog contains programs and interventions that are or could be adapted to work with families whose children are returning home as well as children and families who have obtained permanence through guardianship. The Catalog itself is not an evidence-based review system, database, clearinghouse, or registry. Further, the inclusion of information or interventions does not constitute an endorsement, promotion, or approval of the intervention by project or The Children’s Bureau.
